Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Okojyo-Soft (the "developer") handles your information in the iOS application LifeTile (the "app"). This English text is provided for convenience; where the two versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
In short
- There is no account registration and no sign-in.
- Everything you enter is stored only on your device.
- The app never links to a bank account or a credit card.
- Limited information may be sent to AdMob (Google) to serve ads.
- Deleting the app erases all of your data.
1. Information collected
To provide and improve the service, the app may collect the following:
- Device IP address
- Screens viewed in the app, with timestamps and time spent
- Time spent using the app
- Operating system information
- Advertising ID, purchase history, device ID
The app does not collect precise device location, and does not process your data with AI technology.
The household figures, pension figures and asset log entries you type into the app are stored only on your device and are never sent to the developer's servers. Share images are also rendered on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
2. Notifications
The app can send weekly and monthly reminders. Notifications are off by default and are sent only if you enable the weekly or monthly reminder in Settings. Notification content is generated on your device; no information is sent to the developer's servers in order to deliver them.
3. Widgets
The app provides Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Widget content is generated on your device. Amounts are hidden by default and appear only if you turn them on in Settings.
4. Third-party services
The app uses the following third-party service, whose own privacy policy applies in addition to this one:
- AdMob (Google) — used to serve advertisements
If you make the one-time purchase that removes ads, no information is sent to AdMob.
5. Disclosure of information
The developer does not disclose collected information to third parties except:
- where disclosure is required by law (for example, a formal request from a court or public authority);
- where it is reasonably judged necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of a user or a third party;
- to service providers who have agreed to comply with this policy, to the extent necessary to provide or improve the service.
6. How to stop collection
Deleting the app stops all collection of information by the app. Removal follows the standard iOS or App Store procedure.
7. Retention
Data you enter in the app is retained while it remains on your device. Erasing data from the Settings screen, or deleting the app, removes all of it from the device.
8. Children's information
The app is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and will delete it promptly if such collection comes to light. If you believe your child may have entered personal information into the app, please contact us as a parent or guardian through the contact form.
9. Security
The developer takes reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect user information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised as needed. A revision takes effect when it is posted on this page. Continuing to use the app after a revision is taken as agreement to the revised policy.
This policy is effective from 2026-07-27.
11. Consent
By using the app, you are deemed to consent to the handling of information described in this policy.
12. Contact
For questions about this policy or about privacy, please use the contact form.
